Pit Stop Pizza

Today we’re bringing you a review of Pitstop Pizza, a restaurant that has recently opened in Deltona, FL.

The first thing you notice when you walk in is that it’s not just another “beige,” soulless place. It’s very well decorated and clean. It matches the theme well. The staff is very friendly, and we can see that they really care about the place and what they are offering.

We ordered some pizza slices and an arancini.

The slices were huge and delicious, and the dough is unique. The tomato sauce is well seasoned, and the sauce-to-cheese ratio is perfect.

We haven’t had many arancini, so our knowledge is a bit limited on this. However, we can say that this one was delicious. The crust was amazingly good, the sauce was perfect, and the filling was also great.

To make things even better, the prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth checking out.

Our experience at Steak Up – Brazilian restaurant in Orlando

On our search for a good meal and a new restaurant to try, we found Steak Up, a Brazilian restaurant in Orlando.

The restaurant has a simple but nice decoration. There are little flags everywhere, and the brick walls brought a slight feeling that we were at a backyard churrasco on a Saturday afternoon.

What we ordered:

Fillet mignon with Alfredo sauce:

The portion could have been bigger for the price, and we honestly felt like it needed something else with it. We also found out we could get some Parmesan, but that was never offered to us. The fillet itself was good, though. 6.5/1

Picanha:

The picanha was good, but everything else was off. The amount of farofa and chimichurri was ridiculously small, to the point that we couldn’t even judge the taste of the farofa. A portion of vinaigrette (also just as small — and it’s not on the menu, by the way) will cost you an extra dollar. This doesn’t make any sense, since the original accompaniment for Brazilian dishes is vinaigrette and not chimichurri. Chimichurri is not even Brazilian, even though it has been growing popular in the country for the past 15 years or so. The temperature of the rice, beans, and fries was not as hot as it should have been. 7/10
