Every year in Florida, from mid-August to the end of September, there is this event called Magical Dining, where you can eat a 3-course meal at selected restaurants for a discounted price. This year, we decided to go to Bites & Bubbles.

For the first course, we chose the escargot and the deviled eggs.
Escargot: Very bland. There was definitely something missing.
Deviled Eggs: The toppings were interesting, and the filling was well seasoned.

For the second course, we chose the seafood boil and the duck confit.
Seafood boil: The seafood tasted fresh, and it was very well cooked (the piece of corn that came with it was almost creamy), but it lacked seasoning.
Duck confit: It was basically Thanksgiving dinner, but with duck instead of turkey. All of the ingredients were very fresh and well seasoned, but we wish there was a little bit more gravy. The duck fell off the bone, as confit should. The skin wasn’t crispy like we expected it would have been.

For the third course, we chose the pecan pie and the mixed berry cheesecake.
Pecan pie: We were expecting something a little bit more complex than what we got.
Mixed berry cheesecake: Well made, and the fruit was fresh. Again, we were expecting something more complex.
